Few know that before Laguna Beach had its current downtown, the heart of the small business district was from Thalia St. to Bluebird Canyon on South Coast Highway. This quaint, historic and thriving area is now called the HIP District, "HIP" for Historic and Interesting Places and with access to some of Laguna's best beaches; it's a great place to discover and enjoy a day!
